Its bright yellow flowers are a magnet for hummingbirds and butterflies, making it a great pick for a pollinator or hummingbird garden. Once it's settled in, it's basically low-maintenance — it holds up beautifully against heat, drought, and humidity.

Botanical name: Cestrum corymbosum 'WNCESCORYEL'
Origin: Species in the genus Cestrum are native to tropical and semi-tropical regions of North and South America. Juiced Orange is a cultivar introduced by Proven Winners ColorChoice Trees and Shrubs.
Flowers: In spring and summer, golden tubular flowers bloom in rounded clusters at the tips of the stems. The flowers are fragrant at night, with a scent that's reminiscent of jasmine — lovely.
Foliage: Semi-evergreen — expect some leaf drop from the interior in winter. The leaves are oval and deep green. In USDA Zone 7b, the coldest part of its range, the whole plant will die back to the ground for winter and resprout in spring.
